Who I Am
I’m Victory Mokuolu, a Tech Lead and Senior Product Designer based in Lagos, Nigeria. For the past five years I’ve been designing at the intersection of health and AI, building tools that clinicians depend on to do their jobs and patients rely on to understand their health.
I work at MDaaS Global, where I lead design and engineering decisions across BeaconHealth’s full product ecosystem. Six products. Two of them AI clinical tools used in real diagnostic decisions every day.
How I Work
For most of my career I have been the only designer in the room. That constraint shaped everything. I research because nobody else will. I prototype because waiting for a perfect brief wastes time. I ship because the best design is one that gets used.
I do not separate design from outcomes. Every project I take on, I want to know what success looks like and how we will measure it. A product that looks good in Figma but does not move the needle is not a successful product.
I am also technical enough to be dangerous. I have built production websites in Webflow, worked closely with React engineers on component handoff, and I understand the cost of a design decision at implementation time.
What I Believe
Good health products are not just usable — they are trustworthy. In a clinical context, every UI decision carries weight. The label on a result. The placement of an approve button. The language used to explain a finding to a patient who has never seen a blood test before.
I believe design in healthcare has a responsibility that most industries do not. And I take that seriously.
What I Am Looking For
A senior remote role at a global healthtech or AI company where design has direct patient or clinical impact. I work evenings WAT which overlaps with US East Coast mornings and EU afternoons. I have operated in distributed teams for my entire career.
I am not looking for a title. I am looking for the right problem.
