Who I Am
I’m Victory Mokuolu, a Tech Lead and Senior Product Designer based in Lagos, Nigeria. For the past five years I’ve led design at the intersection of health and AI, working closely with engineers, clinicians, product managers, executives, and clinical operations teams to build tools that matter.
I work at MDaaS Global, where I lead design and engineering decisions across BeaconHealth’s full product ecosystem. Six products. Two of them AI clinical tools embedded in real diagnostic decisions every day.
How I Work
Design at its best is a team sport. I’ve spent my career as the design lead inside cross-functional teams, collaborating with engineers on implementation trade-offs, working through clinical workflows with doctors, aligning with product managers on priorities, and presenting decisions to executives who need to understand the why before they approve the what.
I don’t separate design from outcomes. Every project I take on, I want to know what success looks like and how we will measure it. A product that looks good in Figma but does not move the needle is not a successful product.
I am also technical enough to be useful at the engineering table. I have built production websites in Webflow, worked closely with React engineers on component handoff, and I understand the cost of a design decision at implementation time.
What I Believe
Good health products are not just usable, they are trustworthy. In a clinical context, every UI decision carries weight. The label on a result. The placement of an approve button. The language used to explain a finding to a patient who has never seen a blood test before.
I believe design in healthcare has a responsibility that most industries do not. And I take that seriously.
What I Am Looking For
A senior remote role at a global healthtech or AI company where design has direct patient or clinical impact. I work evenings WAT which overlaps with US East Coast mornings and EU afternoons. I have operated in distributed teams for my entire career.
I am not looking for a title. I am looking for the right problem.
